As an important member of the Help Good Happen community, we want to celebrate an important leadership change with you.
Effective May 1st, we will say goodbye to our CEO, Paul Plaia, as he embarks on a new opportunity. Paul has set an empowering foundation, backed by a vision, for how we accelerate helping good happen. And while we will miss working with him daily, we know that we will continue to build on the great foundation we have all set together.
Over the last few years, nonprofits have raised over $225M in donations for their causes through:
- Workplace giving and payroll campaigns
- Galas, auctions, charity golf tournaments, a-thons, and other peer-to-peer fundraising events
- DIY supporter efforts
- Campaign appeals
Embracing change fosters new possibilities, and we are thrilled to announce the promotion of our CFO, Matt Murphy, to CEO.
For the last three years, Matt has worked side by side with Paul and the entire leadership team to set the foundation for profitable growth that will enable us to continue to invest in our solutions, so you have the best tools to hit your fundraising goals.
Helping Even More Good Happen
We are dedicated to bringing regular updates to our digital solutions and have averaged one release a week across our “For Good” Ecosystem during Paul’s tenure. Some of the highlights include:
- Created an embeddable donation button that keeps donors on your nonprofit website to reduce giving friction and increase trust.
- Relaunched and invested in our nonprofit CRM module to better acquire and engage supporters and volunteers.
- Doubled down on our onsite support to reduce the day-of-event stress and act as an extension to your team.
- Added the risk-free auction marketplace to help event organizers seamlessly secure consignment items for auctions.
- Livestream options compatible with YouTube, Facebook, and Twitch.
- Developed year-round, evergreen workplace giving options, so employees have the flexibility to update their pledge and designations throughout the year.
- Simplified the workplace giving pledge process for nonprofits working with corporate partners to raise funds with employees, as well as companies that want to empower employees to give to causes they care about.
- Included new and updated payment options for how you can collect and receive funds and updates to our credit card validation process to reduce declined credit cards.
As we flip the page to the next FrontStream chapter, our mission and strategy are unwavering. We will continue to:
- Bring you fresh fundraising ideas
- Release new product enhancements
- Advance the ways you can raise money for your cause
