TRUIST- UNITED WAY CLC CONFERENCE 2016: WORKING TOGETHER TO CREATE SUSTAINABLE CHANGE
What do you get when you bring together executives, volunteers, and community leaders from nearly 1,800 United Way communities from around the globe? A meeting of the minds that proves indeed the whole is greater than the sum of its parts!
The annual Community Leaders Conference (CLC) is part of United Way’s global movement to affect lasting change in local and international communities and is built on the belief that working together to connect ideas, share stories, and target solutions will have a greater impact than endeavoring alone.
This year’s CLC will be held in Vancouver, British Columbia May 9th-12th and will host some of the most influential leaders of the philanthropic community. Some speakers include Beth Kanter nonprofit guru, Stacey Stewart U.S. President of United Way Worldwide, and Steve Pemberton Vice-President of Diversity and Inclusion and Global Chief Diversity Officer of Walgreens Boots Alliance.
We’re looking forward to dynamic learning sessions on topics like corporate engagement, community impact, and volunteer development. We wouldn’t dream of missing this opportunity to engage with so many industry experts, and we hope you’ll be there too.
If you are planning to attend CLC 2016 then stop by FrontStream’s Truist hub to meet everyone’s favorite gift bearing swine; Frank the Pig. When it comes to giving out cool prizes, he maybe short snouted but he’s never short-sighted!
Below you’ll find the where and when, but for full details about the conference visit United Way’s CLC page. We can’t wait to see you there!
