About Michelle Caplan
Michelle is a Canadian marketing and fundraising professional with experience developing and executing successful nonprofit marketing programs, online fundraising campaigns and public awareness initiatives. She has worked with organizations in Ontario, Alberta, Florida and New York, and currently serves as Manager of Marketing & Fund Development with Calgary-based cat rescue, MEOW Foundation.
Prior to working with MEOW, Michelle helped develop and grow the world’s largest epilepsy awareness initiative (Purple Day), managing the creation, design and dissemination of marketing communications reaching more than 13 million people in over 120 countries worldwide. Michelle holds an MA in journalism from Western University and runs a freelance consulting and copywriting business in her spare time.
