FrontStream Unveils #GivingTuesday Impact Dashboard

FrontStream has released an exciting new #GivingTuesday Impact Dashboard that gives #GivingTuesday participants the ability to see the immediate impact of their giving across multiple channels and get involved by donating to a good cause, shopping online charity auctions or creating their own campaign.

#GivingTuesday was launched in 2012 and was designed to build a sense of community in rallying around a day that would serve as a charitable alternative to the heavy-hitting holiday shopping days i.e. Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Since its inception, the phenomenon has grown exponentially and has moved beyond the borders of the U.S. to become  a global trend.

FrontStream has been able to track an average 150% increase in the number of donations through their platform year over year and a 171% spike in overall donations in Canada alone. The opportunities that charities have to engage with their donors through this type of movement is unprecedented!

On average, about 30% of donation traffic comes in from mobile devices like smartphones and tablets. Much of that can be attributed to social activity on Facebook and Twitter which have been huge contributors to the success of #GivingTuesday campaigns. In some cases, social interactions have been responsible for driving upwards of 700% more traffic to donation pages on #GivingTuesday than on an average giving day!
